Colgate Men's Soccer Advance to NCAA Division I Sweet 16

Garrett Esper, of Slingerlands, NY (12159), is a member of the Colgate University men's soccer team advancing to the NCAA Division I Sweet 16 after defeating No. 13 University of Michigan.

Esper, a graduate of The Loomis Chaffee School, is part of the first Colgate men's soccer team to advance to the Sweet 16 in program history. The team will face No. 4 Louisville on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m.

In addition to success on the field, Colgate student-athletes posted a 98-percent Graduation Success Rate for the sixth consecutive year, according to NCAA figures. Colgate's 98 percent rate stands as the second-highest nationally among Division I schools.

Colgate University is a highly selective residential liberal arts institution that offers 55 majors to a diverse student body of approximately 2,900 undergraduate students.
