Hempfield High School Graduate Carlie Wetzel Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

Hempfield High School graduate Carlie Wetzel, of Lancaster, PA, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2014, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Wetzel is conducting research in Living Writers Research & Planning, with the guidance of English Professor Jennifer Brice Jane Pinchin.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
