High School for Arts Business Graduate Ying Lin Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

High School for Arts Business graduate Ying Lin, of Elmhurst, NY, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2015, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Lin is conducting research in Social Learning of Food Preferences by Zebra Finches, with the guidance of Psychology Professor Richard Braaten.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
