King Philip Regional HS Graduate Colin Shipley Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

King Philip Regional HS graduate Colin Shipley, of Norfolk, MA, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2015, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Shipley is conducting research in chemistry, with the guidance of Chemistry Professor Rick Geier.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
