Mount Eden High School Graduate Samantha Lee Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

Mount Eden High School graduate Samantha Lee, of Hayward, CA, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2014, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Lee is conducting research in Guanxi in Academia--Gifting for Grades, with the guidance of Sociology and Anthropology; Asian Studies Professor Carolyn Hsu.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
