Mount Markham Central School Graduate Alex Wrobel Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

Mount Markham Central School graduate Alex Wrobel, of Bridgewater, NY, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2015, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Wrobel is conducting research in Electron Backscatter Defraction (EBSD) analysis of the Carthage-Colton Mylonite Zone Adirondacks New York, with the guidance of Geology Professor Martin Wong.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
