North Shore High School Graduate Wil Lieberman-Cribbin Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

North Shore High School graduate Wil Lieberman-Cribbin, of Sea Cliff, NY, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2014, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Lieberman-Cribbin is conducting research in Using satellite observations to determine the effects of vegetation on high northern latitude surface energy dynamics, with the guidance of Geography Professor Michael Loranty.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
