Oakcrest School for Girls graduate Alexandra Gadiano Inducted into Colgate University Senior Honor Society

2015 Mar 9

Alexandra Gadiano, of Reston, VA, a graduate of Oakcrest School for Girls, is now a member of Colgate University's prestigious Konosioni Senior Honor Society.

Since 1934, Konosioni has recognized students who have exhibited outstanding leadership, dedicated service to the community, and the preservation of tradition. Just 26 members are peer selected for induction into the honor society each year.

Colgate students chose the name Konosioni, which literally means "people of the long house," to honor the living traditions of the Iroquois (Haudenosaunee) Confederacy.

Colgate University is a highly selective residential liberal arts institution that offers 54 majors to a diverse student body of approximately 2,900 undergraduate students, and supports 25 Division I athletic teams. The university's 575-acre campus in rural central New York is renowned for its beauty and for the important role it plays in the student experience.
