Tamalpais High School Graduate Catherine Morris Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

Tamalpais High School graduate Catherine Morris, of Mill Valley, CA, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2016, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Morris is conducting research in Phytoremediation and drought tolerance in Streptanthus, with the guidance of Biology Professor James Watkins.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
