Troy High School Graduate Emily Crone Conducts Undergraduate Research at Colgate University

Troy High School graduate Emily Crone, of Troy, NY, and a member of the Colgate Class of 2016, is one of about 150 Colgate University students conducting serious research on and off campus this summer as a paid research fellow.

Crone is conducting research in biology, with the guidance of Biology Professor James Watkins.

Summer fellowships at Colgate allow students to work closely with faculty for eight to ten weeks on projects of common interest, and across disciplines, from biology and neuroscience to geology and sociology, to name a few.
